Recommended tips to gain back your glamorous, glowing skin
Along with moisturizing your skin with our DIY lotion, it is best to couple it with:
1. Sleep
This may be one of the underrated beauty regimens. In this digital age, everyone just seemed so busy. Before I became a mom, I was one of those people who believe in YOLO, the type who worked hard and partied even harder. Ever wondered why a bride who has to be wed the following day must have her beauty sleep? Sleep makes a huge difference in our skin’s appearance. National Sleep Foundation recommends 7 to 9 hours of sleep per day for adults ages 26-65. One factor of the study was based on anatomy and physiology.
2. Water
Water, with its many wonders, is important for skin to be soft and smooth. Without enough water, our skin is more likely to wrinkle and dry out. It also makes the skin more elastic. Sprinkling your face with water is great for a little pick-me-up during the busiest part of the day. In dryer climates, using a humidifier is likewise beneficial for the skin.
3. A little kindness to your skin
Be gentle when washing your face and body and use a soft towel to pat your skin dry. Apply skin moisturize especially in the morning and at night. Keep your showers short and sweet as frequent washing and drying can cause your skin to become dehydrated. Exfoliate your face once or twice a week to removes impurities and help ensure that skin cells regenerate properly. And of course, apply sunscreen to your face and neck at least once a day.
